我們研究病原體如何演化及傳播，以及這些與人類免疫反應之間的交互關係。由於病原體的演化會在基因體留下訊號，我們利用生物資訊與統計的方法分析基因體內的訊號，以了解病原體過去發生了什麼事情，並希望藉由這些了解能對公共衛生政策帶來有用的見解。此外，藉由結合數學模型與人潮流動數據，我們推測病原體的傳播，並探討不同公共衛生策略對病原體傳播造成的影響。非常歡迎對資料分析、基因體學，或病原體有興趣、喜歡自主學習的學生加入我們的團隊！

Our research investigates how pathogens evolve, emerge, and spread through populations. We tackle these questions by identifying genetic signatures of migration and natural selection in pathogen genomes using approaches from genomics, bioinformatics, statistics, and mathematical modeling.
